How we actually do it
Cabling
The right tool for most single clogs. We match cable and head size to the line — using a machine that's too big damages older pipe, and one that's too small won't do anything.
Hydro jetting
High-pressure water that scours the full inside diameter. This is what actually fixes a kitchen line that clogs every few months, because it removes the grease layer instead of drilling through it.
Camera inspection
If a drain keeps blocking in the same spot, stop paying to clear it and find out why. The camera shows roots, bellies, breaks and scale, and tells us how far out and how deep.
When a clog isn't really a clog

Common questions
Should I use a chemical drain cleaner first?
We would rather you did not. They rarely clear a real blockage, they damage older pipe - especially the cast iron and clay tile common in this area - and they make the job hazardous for whoever opens the line afterward. If you have already used one, tell us so we can take precautions.
What is the difference between cabling and jetting?
Cabling - running a snake - punches through a blockage and is right for most single clogs. Jetting uses high-pressure water to scour the full diameter of the pipe and is what you want for grease, sludge and recurring blockages, because it cleans the walls rather than boring a hole through the middle.
My drain keeps clogging in the same place. Why?
Something structural. A belly where the line has sagged and holds water, root intrusion at a joint, a partial collapse, or a section of pipe that has scaled down internally. Repeated clearing treats the symptom - a camera finds the cause.
